2007 ABRSM Exam

This year, the release of ABRSM results were kinda slow. It kept me and my students in suspense. My resolution for this practical exam is not only a pass, but at least a merit for all my students! preferably Distinction (high distinction) .... will they succeed? ? ?

i dont have many students taking exam this year, cos i've cut down so so so so many students... there goes my income too... But for the sake of my baby, i think it's absolutely worth it.

The next coming abrsm exam is the theory....
luckily most of my students are taking in march.. but sadly i'll be on maternity leave from jan to feb.. hmm..... how??? hopefully they are ready by dec .. before i give birth.....

Whatever the results may be, i'm glad that it's over. All i care now is my little one....

Here's a very interesting story i heard over the radio. I would like to share with all. I cannot remember the exact words or names, but the gist of the story is there. Here it goes.

Alex's mum visited her son at his apartment. There, she met his roommate, Diana, who prepared a nice and delicious dinner for the 3 of them. The mum felt that there was something going on between the both of them and kept wondering if his son is sleeping with his roommate. Throughout the dinner the mum noticed the behaviour of both of them and felt that it was really fishy.

However the son said: "Mum, i know what you are think about. Diana is just my roommate. That's all. "

A week later...

Diana said to Alex: "I think your mum took the ladle from the kitchen. It has been missing ever since that dinner with your mum."

Alex wrote to his mum:

"Dear Mum,
I'm not saying that you took the ladle or
you did not take the ladle from my apartment.
But Diana said that it has been missing
ever since your came over for dinner.
Love;
Your son, Alex"

Mum wrote back to Alex:
"Dear Son,
I'm not saying that i took the ladle or
i did not take the ladle.
But if your roommate, diana
has been sleeping in her own room,
she would have found the ladle.
Love;
Your Mum"

Just my day... no wonder 13th day is an unlucky number. My Beloved Car was parked at NAFA and some idiot reversed and HIT my CAR while i was teaching upstairs and that person
JUST RAN AWAY!

Leaving behind a dented Bonnet, Scratches on the bumper, Misaligned bumper, Radiator shifted, which resulted to the car malfunction (overheating = explosion) ! The radiator cover cracked too! I had to leave it overnight and wait till the next day to get it towed and FIXED! It's going to cost!!!!
Can someone find the CULPRIT for Me?!?!?! Please!!!!

Teacher's Day didnt really matter.. but the moment i received an appreciate gift / card it struck me that did i really mean that much to them??

Out of all the gifts i received, what i loved most are the CARDS.. Especially the self-made ones and those who wrote their thoughts about my teaching. I feel so worthy and touched when they expressed their gratitude.

I hope that they will continue and enjoy their music learning process. Though i may not teach them forever, i wish they find even better teachers as their education advances.

I roughly counted and to my shocking results, i received 25 cards, 12 bouquet of flowers, 10 boxes of chocolates, 2 tins of Cookies, 2 soft toys, 3 photoframes, 1 computer wrist pad, 2 cups, 6 display decorations, 6 beauty products (perfumes, soap, shower gel), 4 hair accessories and SURPRISING.. a Wonderful Jelly made by the parents. I feel so touched. I hope i didnt miss any one out.

What a collection.... The next thing i have to prepare is Children's DAY Gifts!! What should i do?? It's my turn to express my enjoyment in teaching them. They are the future of our generation.

Where has all the walls disappeared to? A 120 sqm seems bigger than normal .. an open concept with a divider made of glass serves good segregation and 50% sound proofing for the music studio. A bird's eye view of the space gives a sense of Spacious and Well-ventilated environment.

An oversized sofa which seats 9 souls and a 42" plasma serves the owner to it's utmost.. Pool Table was replaced witha dining table... Cos it damages the flooring.. as a consolation we got ourselves a mini pool table kept in the bombshelter which's hidden behind the BIG Mirror..

My Music studio.. many say it's conducive and cozy... with a C2, a self made glass board with music stave embedded as well as a long table for group lessons of 4 to 5. The lovely pearl carpet is soft and thick.. poor me.. it takes me about an hour to shampoo and vacuum it.

The only other room is the extremely long big spacious master. Sitting in it, a super-king bed and a long working corner. There's enough room for my future Baby!

My kitchen has been Shrunk to 3/4 the original size.. i Dont cook and dunt know how.. why waste space then. Our Fridge only has Liquid.. no Solid. Perhaps the only color to my pigeon hole is the art work under the spot lights. It takes the dullness away.

We are very please with the home. It's been well kept my Me!! I had to clean the house 3 times everyday so as to maintain it clean and welcoming.
